Series Producer Gemma Cunningham is one of the most senior members of BBC Northern Ireland’s Content Production team. She started with the BBC in Bristol as a News Trainee and has produced a wide spectrum of output for the broadcaster since. She’s done everything from live TV studio to big historic news events, The One Show films, natural history series’ and observational documentaries. An award-winning TV Producer and more recently, podcast maker, Gemma has a depth of experience across the board of the BBC. Gemma mentors and manages the BBC’s Production Trainees, from sitting on selection panels - through until they take their next career step, Gemma is supportive and invested in their development
Production Apprentice, BBC Radio Ulster’s Music & Entertainment
Christianna is a BBC production apprentice working in Radio Ulster’s Music & Entertainment department. So far she’s worked on broadcasts and events including the Belfast Marathon, Children in Need, BBC Comedy Festival and Make a Difference, as well as working with independent production companies through our external placement scheme. With a background in forensic psychology and support work, Christianna is passionate about opening doors for people who’ve “always loved media but never saw a way in”.

Thomas Niblock is an award-winning television and sports Presenter, working with the BBC. He’s also the Presenter and producer of the award-winning GAA Social Podcast. He’s approaching two decades within the industry and formerly worked for ITV and Sky Sports. Fav tipple, Mug of tea during the day- Guinness by night.
Presenter, BBC Radio Ulster (The Late Show)
John Kerr is a broadcaster for BBC Radio Ulster, where he presents The Late Show — a late-night music programme airing from 10pm to midnight. With over a decade of experience at the BBC, John began his career in various production roles spanning numerous departments, before becoming a regular presenter. His varied journey offers a unique insight into the media industry, and he is passionate about sharing practical advice with those starting out.
