The BBC and TikTok have combined forces to recruit new digital content makers via the BBC Creator Lab initiative.

Join Controller Youth Audience, Fiona Campbell, TikTok’s Head of Entertainment, Edward Lindeman, and digital entrepreneur James Blake as they discuss the importance of building new pathways for talent development within Television, and how a younger generation of creators can help drive audience success in linear and online.

The panel will also discuss the opportunities and challenges facing creators transitioning into a new media – including James’ experience with hit BBC Three documentary Hunting the Catfish Crime Gang.

James Blake is a successful agency owner, internet entrepreneur and online personality. James has recently also made the transition to television with his latest documentary, Hunting The Catfish Crime Gang.

Head of Entertainment and News, TikTok

Ed was part of the team that launched TikTok in Europe in 2018. He has since worked across its content, creator and ecommerce teams. He currently heads the Entertainment and News operations team, leading partnerships and activations across the UK, Ireland and the Nordics.
