Chair and Star of BLUE LIGHTS
Aoibhéann McCann is an actor, writer and eco-activist. Best known for playing Geraldine in Series 1-3 of BLUE LIGHTS (BBC), she has also appeared in ELLIS (Channel 5), COAST (Charmer Pictures) CLEAN SWEEP (RTÉ), HARRY WILD (Acorn), and YIELD (Out of Orbit). On stage, she has starred in ‘Girl on an Altar’ and ‘Twinkletoes’ (both at the Abbey Theatre); and ‘Widow Quin', ‘The Playboy of the Western World’; ‘Blanche DuBois’, and ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’. In 2020, she was awarded Best Actress at the Irish Times Theatre Awards and is a participant of Screen Ireland’s X-Pollinator 2024 (a cross-disciplinary professional development and networking initiative for female, trans and non-binary talent in the film industry). She also runs production company “Athrach” – the focus is to make work as sustainably as possible and in 2023 they made the short film ‘The Last Harvest’. This production outdid the Albert calculator and worked with Native Events (their first film) to power the production off-grid with renewable energy. She recently wrote, directed and acted in the short film ‘Step in Time’ and another short film for The All-Ireland Pollinator Plan which will be launched in January 2025. In 2024, her theatre monologue ‘Humanitarian’ was presented by Landmark's Theatre-For-One at Cork Midsummer Festival and she is now developing it as a feature film. Aoibhéann studied French & Sociology in Maynooth University before training as an actor at the Oxford School of Drama.
Two Cities Television, Production Manager
Rachel Logan-Fee is a Production Manager for Two Cities Television, having recently also been the associate producer on the short proof of concept film SO YOU’RE GOING TO DIE, written by Michael Patrick and Oisín Kearney and directed by Oisín Kearney. She has worked in film and television production for 12 years, most recently on Series 3 of BLUE LIGHTS (BBC) and AMADEUS (Sky). She production coordinated Series 2 of BLUE LIGHTS (BBC) and THE HEIST BEFORE CHRISTMAS (SKY), amongst other projects, and also has production credits on KRYPTON S2 (Warner Horizon); THE BOOKSHOP (Zephyr Films); THE JOURNEY (Greenroom); THE LOST CITY OF Z (Plan B); MORGAN (FOX); THE TRUTH COMMISSIONER (BBC); Season 5 of GAME OF THRONES (HBO); and DRACULA UNTOLD (Universal). Rachel is also an experienced theatre director, having directed YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN at The MAC, and most recently the sold out production of COME FROM AWAY at the Lyric Theatre. In 2013, she co-founded Blunt Fringe Theatre Company with the Lyric Theatre’s Claire Murray, directing, choreographing and producing musical reviews such as THE WORLD GOES ROUND (Kander & Ebb), THE LAST FIVE YEARS (Jason Robert Brown), JACQUES BREL IS ALIVE AND WELL AND LIVING IN NEW YORK (Jacques Brel), and PUTTIN’ IT TOGETHER (Sondheim). She read Theatre at Trinity College Dublin and trained at LIPA, graduating with an MA in Acting.
Bigger Picture, Sustainability Advisor
With 15 years’ experience across factual entertainment and scripted production, Adam Wilkinson has worked on acclaimed projects including The X Factor, The Great British Menu, The Fall, Game of Thrones, The Lost City of Z, and Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves.Now a Sustainability Advisor, he applies his extensive production background to deliver sustainability strategies on high-end television projects including HBO’s A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Netflix’s How to Get to Heaven from Belfast, the BBC’s Blue Lights, and NBC Universal's How to Train Your Dragon, where he served as Sustainability Supervisor. Adam is also committed to developing local talent through producing independent films, mentoring emerging creatives, and delivering talks for organisations including Queen’s University Belfast, Into Film, and Cinemagic.
Northern Ireland Screen, Facilities and Sustainability Manager
Gavin Kelly is Northern Ireland Screen’s first Facilities and Sustainability Manager, leading efforts to embed sustainable practices across the local screen industry. With a background in high-profile productions like GAME OF THRONES and THE NORTHMAN, Gavin brings a practical, production-informed approach to sustainability.
Movie Go Film and TV Facilities
Jamie Carlile is the Managing Director of Movie Go Film and TV Facilities. Proud to be featured in the We Are Albert Suppliers Directory, the company is committed to sustainability and is excited to be part of a community that driving positive change in the industry. With over 18 years of experience providing high-quality facility vehicles for the film and television industry, throughout Jamie’s career, he has taken on various roles within the company, including Facilities Manager from 2012-2018 and Facilities Driver from 2006-2012. He has also been an HGV/Generator Technician for the last 15 years to ensure the operational excellence and reliability of the company’s fleet and equipment. Jamie was the Facilities Manager on Series 1-3 of BLUE LIGHTS, Series 1-3 of DERRY GIRLS, Series 3-6 of LINE OF DUTY, a driver on the feature film HIGH-RISE, and has many other productions under his belt. Prior to this, Jamie was a Joiner for RJL from 2004-2006.
Unit Sustainability Manager
Aaron Kelly entered the screen industry in 2021 after a decade in retail, quickly transitioning from Locations into a dedicated sustainability role. He was part of Northern Ireland’s first on-set environmental department on HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON and has since supported sustainable practices on productions like A KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS and BLUE LIGHTS Series 3. Aaron brings a practical, solutions-driven approach to improving environmental performance, with a focus on battery and hybrid infrastructure.
