Join our panel of industry leaders and creators as we lift the lid on Virtual Production with a particular focus on the projects that have utilised the world class facilities at Studio Ulster including a brand-new gameshow format, a docudrama for international distribution and a trailer for a new magical family feature film combining live action, animation and virtual production. We will also hear form the team assisting in bringing these creative visions to life using the newest technologies.

Alyssa Boyle

Head of Commercial Operations, Studio Ulster
Alyssa is the Head of Commercial Operations at Studio Ulster. Prior to joining the team in Belfast, she had been leading commercial teams at innovative media startups across the US & UK for 12 years including WPP, News Corp, and Paramount Global.

Michelle Walsh

Head of Production, Stellify Media Ltd
Michelle’s career spans 30 years of industry experience across all genres & for all major broadcasters, notably 4 years on ITV’s Coronation Street including it’s 50th live episode. Michelle joined Stellify in 2018 & oversees all their production output, including Who Wants To Be A Millioniare for ITV, Channel 4’s Snoop Dogs & recently completed filming on BBC’s Titanic Sinks Tonight, the first docu-drama series to film virtual production in the new VP Ulster Studio.

Rob Carlisle

Art Director, Poli Productions
Digital Innovator, Digital Manufacture, Creative Supervisor and Art Director with 30 years of international experience in the global film industry, specializing in art department design, concept art, and fabrication. Former owner of CFX Productions, South Africa’s go-to fabrication company for Hollywood productions. Skilled in VFX, props, prosthetics, animatronics, set construction, and digital concept design across documentaries, features, and commercials. In recent years Rob has been installing (and providing training for) Digital Manufacturing Workflows leveraging emerging eManufacturing Technologies. Currently Rob is working with Poli Productions in Northern Ireland upgrading their plant and production pipeline while working with the teams at Studio Ulster and Northern Ireland Screen to develop innovative new technologies and workflows aimed at improving the adoption of emerging technologies. Rob was Creative Supervisor on the LED Volume Production of BBC’s DocuDrama, “Titanic Sinks Tonight”

Sean O’Riordan

Chief Creative Officer, Bigger Stage
Sean is an award-winning creative producer with experience developing formats that travel the world. His credits include The Floor, Beat Shazam, Name That Tune, Next Level Chef, Murder, Mystery & My Family, and Wheeler Dealers. He’s held senior roles at BBC, 7Wonder, Chalkboard, and Betty. At BiggerStage, Sean leads the creative slate and drives original IP development, championing distinctive formats that connect with audiences globally.
